Camden Image Gallery
174 Royal College Street
Members of the North London Artist Network showcased over one hundred recent works at their much anticipated group show at the Camden Image Gallery (31/10-2/11). The exhibition celebrated the networks whirlwind success in its inaugural year and was the first time all members exhibited together, highlighting the strength and breadth of artistic talent and diversity in practice amongst its membership.
Over 300 guests attended the thrilling Private View, with many more visitors arriving throughout the weekend. Elena Chimonas, Director of Camden Image Gallery, said that the show achieved the most sales the gallery had seen to date.
The North London Artist Network is based in Barnet and currently consists of 38 new and established visual artists who energise and support each other in their passion for making art. Artists showed previously unseen work, making the exhibition a fascinating chance for visitors to see the most up-to-date direction of each artist’s practice.
The North London Artist Network is still young, but looking at what it’s already achieved in its first year, they are definitely a group to keep an eye on for the future.
